Some good friends of ours have recently moved back from London and last night we finally caught up with them for dinner.  They met Jack, we filled them in on everything they had missed, and we heard their adventure filled travel stories.  We ate pasta and drank red wine. This pasta recipe really calls for fresh pasta – which, if you haven’t made before is very simple to make (and nothing quite compares) – but failing that, store bought fresh pasta is a good substitute.  It is a very simple dish – four main ingredients which when combined, create something quite special.

      Definitely do it – you won’t be disappointed! It had been ages for me too but now I remember how easy it is I’ll be making it all the time.

        I generally worry that it’ll take me too long without a pasta machine… But I love my new silicon rolling pin and want to use it for everything, so maybe one of these weekends I’ll test it out on pasta dough!
